The Site

The caravan park commenced in 1931 and has been in the same family since 1956.

Originally known as Littlecote Caravan Site, the park is situated in the stunning glacial valley of Walden, approximately three quarters of a mile from West Burton, 3 miles from Aysgarth Falls, 7 miles from Leyburn to the East and 7 miles from Hawes to the West.

It is a low density, 5 acre park, spread across four fields with 16 amp electric pitches.

A river runs through the middle of the park and there is a woodland area within the site boundary. In support of the climate change initiative, over 2500 additional native trees and shrubs have been planted to enhance the existing broadleaf woodland. Water comes from a local spring and there are two chemical toilet disposal points.

The park offers seasonal caravan pitches with an occupation period of 1st March to 31st October including winter storage. The smallest pitches are 16 metres wide with the awning facing out into the field. Larger pitches are available leading up to two ultra low density pitches set in their own 1 acre fields ensuring utmost privacy.

The holiday park is located central to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Lake District is only 1 hour away by car. The site is a favourite base for hiking, walking, cycling, fishing and families who just want to find peace and quiet.
